Compulsory traffic insurance is an insurance that every vehicle must have. The purpose of compulsory traffic insurance is to ensure that in the event of an accident involving a vehicle in traffic, the vehicle covers the damage it will cause to the other party to a certain extent. In other words, unlike car insurance, compulsory traffic insurance is used to cover the damage of the other party, not the vehicle that has the insurance.

It is not legally possible for vehicles without compulsory traffic insurance to enter traffic. In the event of such a situation being detected, the vehicle is impounded.
